Growing up surrounded by animals, I always knew I wanted a career working with them. In 2018, I started washing dogs causally at Animates and quickly realised that grooming was the path for me.

I moved into the parlour off the shop floor as a full-time assistant, learning the ropes through washing and drying. holding, pre-clipping, nail trimming and mini grooms.

​

After gaining hands on experience, I received professional training and completed annual exams for five consecutive years to become a Certified Master Groomer. During my time there, I advanced to a senior groomer and became a tutor at their grooming academy. Alongside my work with dogs, I've also gained 7 years of cat grooming experience, making me confident with pets of all temperaments and coat types.

Throughout my grooming career, I've proudly competed in industry grooming competition, placing 1st or 2nd in the classes I enter. These competitions are not only a chance to showcase my technical skills and creativity, but also to learn from and be inspired by the best in the industry.

Every pet is unique, my goal is to make grooming a positive, stress-free experience tailored to their individual needs. I take pride in building trust with animals and making each visit safe, gentle and enjoyable.
