Policy's
Matting
Severly matted pets may require shaving to prevent further pain or injury. As matting is painful and uncomfortable we will always prioritise the comfort and safety of your pet. Additional fees for extra time and skill for removal will apply. We are not liable for any underlying skin conditions or irritation revealed once mats are removed.
Fleas and ticks
If fleas and ticks are found, a flea treatment will be given at the owners expense. Severe infestation may result in rescheduling for health and hygiene reasons.
No-show & Late cancellation:
Appointments missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may incur a fee of $50 per hour booked. No shows may incur a full service charge.
Injury or Accident:
While every effort is made to ensure your pet’s safety and comfor, grooming involves the use of sharpe tools and equipmen. By signing below, you acknowledge that minor accidents (e.g. Nicks, clipper irritation) can occasionally occur. In the unlikely event of serious injury, we will seek immediate veterinary attention at your expense unless discussed otherwise.
Behaviour and handling:
If your pet displays aggressiv, anxiou, over stressed or unpredictable behaviour that risks injury to staff and themselve, we may stop the groom and charge for the time booked. Muzzles may be used if necessary for safey. If your pet is able to be groomed but requires speical handling there may be addition fee to cover extra time and skill.
Health Disclosure:
lease inform us of any health problems (e.g. epilepsy, heart problems, allergies, recent injuries or surgery) this helps our groomers tailor the services to avoid stress or complications.
Arrival:
All dogs must arrive on a lead. All cats must arrive in a secure carry crate. This is to insure all pets arrive safe and calm. If you arrive without any requird teething ask the groomer for a spare crate or lead before bringing in your pet.
